Welcome to Scientific Strategies. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of ScientificStrategies.com and purchases made from Scientific Strategies, LLC. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Scientific Strategies, LLC is an independent supplier and distributor of laboratory supplies, equipment, chemicals, reagents, glassware, consumables, and related products.

2. Product Information

Scientific Strategies makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, specifications, images, pricing, availability, and other information.

Because many products sold by Scientific Strategies are manufactured or supplied by third parties, product specifications, packaging, appearance, manufacturer part numbers, availability, and other details may occasionally change without prior notice.

Product images may be representative and may not always depict the exact package size, quantity, configuration, labeling, or appearance of the product being purchased.

Customers should review the product description, item number, manufacturer information, package quantity, size, and other applicable specifications before placing an order.

If a particular specification is critical to your application, please contact Scientific Strategies before ordering.

3. Pricing and Errors

Scientific Strategies makes reasonable efforts to maintain accurate pricing and product information. However, typographical, pricing, technical, or data-entry errors may occasionally occur.

We reserve the right to correct errors or inaccuracies and to update product information when appropriate.

If a material pricing or product-information error is discovered after an order is submitted, Scientific Strategies may contact the customer before processing the affected item.

Scientific Strategies reserves the right to cancel an order or affected item when a material pricing, availability, or product-information error makes fulfillment impracticable. If payment has already been collected for an item that cannot be fulfilled, the applicable amount will be refunded.

4. Order Acceptance

Submitting an order through ScientificStrategies.com does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of the order.

Orders may be subject to verification of product availability, pricing, payment information, shipping restrictions, regulatory requirements, and other applicable conditions.

Scientific Strategies reserves the right to decline or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including because of product unavailability, payment problems, suspected fraud, pricing errors, shipping restrictions, regulatory restrictions, or circumstances preventing lawful or practical fulfillment.

If Scientific Strategies cancels an order after payment has been collected, the applicable amount will be refunded.

5. Payment

Customers agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment information.

Payment methods displayed during checkout are subject to applicable payment-provider requirements.

Scientific Strategies may take reasonable steps to verify an order before shipment when necessary to prevent fraud or unauthorized transactions.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping charges, available shipping methods, and delivery times may vary according to destination, product type, package size and weight, manufacturer availability, carrier requirements, and applicable regulations.

Certain chemicals, hazardous materials, oversized products, temperature-sensitive products, or regulated products may require special handling, documentation, shipping methods, or additional charges.

Estimated shipping and delivery dates are estimates and are not guarantees.

Carrier delays, weather, manufacturer delays, supply-chain conditions, holidays, regulatory requirements, and circumstances outside the reasonable control of Scientific Strategies may affect delivery.

7. Returns and Refunds

Most eligible new, unused, unopened, and resalable products may be requested for return within 30 days of delivery.

All returns require authorization from Scientific Strategies before the product is shipped back.

Approved returns that are not the result of an error by Scientific Strategies may be subject to a 15% restocking fee, and the customer is responsible for authorized return shipping charges.

Original shipping and handling charges are generally non-refundable unless the return results from an error by Scientific Strategies.

Certain products may not be returnable because of safety, regulatory, manufacturer, product-integrity, expiration, sterility, calibration, contamination, or resale restrictions. These may include chemicals, reagents, standards, solvents, hazardous or regulated materials, opened products, custom products, special-order products, temperature-sensitive products, and other products that cannot reasonably or safely be resold.

If Scientific Strategies ships an incorrect or defective product, please contact us promptly so that we can determine the appropriate resolution.

If there is any uncertainty about whether a product is eligible for return, customers should contact Scientific Strategies before returning the product.

8. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Shipments

Customers should inspect shipments promptly after delivery.

Damage, defects, shortages, or incorrect products should be reported to Scientific Strategies within 7 days of delivery.

Customers may be asked to provide the order number, product information, photographs, packaging information, and other reasonable documentation necessary to evaluate the claim.

Customers should retain the product, shipping carton, packaging, and packing materials until the issue has been resolved.

9. Order Cancellations

Customers should contact Scientific Strategies as soon as possible to request cancellation.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate cancellation requests, but an order may not be cancelable after it has entered processing, been submitted to a manufacturer or supplier, or shipped.

Custom, special-order, made-to-order, or non-stock products may not be cancelable after processing has begun.

10. Chemicals and Regulated Products

Some products offered by Scientific Strategies may be subject to federal, state, local, carrier, transportation, export, import, environmental, workplace-safety, or other regulatory requirements.

Availability of a product on the website does not necessarily mean that the product can legally or practically be shipped to every customer or destination.

Scientific Strategies reserves the right to restrict or decline shipment when necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, carrier requirements, manufacturer restrictions, or safety requirements.

Customers are responsible for determining whether products they purchase are appropriate and lawful for their intended use and for complying with applicable handling, storage, disposal, workplace-safety, and regulatory requirements.

11. Professional and Laboratory Use

Many products sold by Scientific Strategies are intended for professional, laboratory, industrial, educational, research, testing, manufacturing, environmental, or similar applications.

Customers are responsible for reviewing applicable manufacturer instructions, specifications, safety information, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and regulatory requirements before using a product.

Scientific Strategies does not represent that every product is suitable for every application.
